Friends of Twin Lakes

Friends of Twin Lakes is a non-profit 501c(3) focused on preserving the many historically significant aspects of the area and working with the Forest Service and local governments to improve the quality of life for the visitors and residents of southern Lake County and surrounding areas.

Twin Lakes is a village located on one of the most beautiful sections of the Colorado’s Scenic Byways. There are old mines, a historic resort town, and many other old buildings in this historic former mining village.  Friends of Twin Lakes seeks to preserve this historic area.
